Family Hub Community Coordinator Assistant (Casual)
We have an exciting opportunity to join an organisation that is focused on providing the very best service to our children, young people and Community Users. In this role as Family Hub Community Coordinator Assistant you will be working as part of the Family Hub Community Team. You will meet and greet and receive members of the public and professionals entering the Family Hub dealing with signposting, enquiries and incidents as they occur.
The role is a zero hour contract and days of cover are between Monday and Sunday and may involve some lone working.
Hourly rate: £16.14 ph to 16.84 ph.
About the role
As a Community Coordinator Assistant, you will be the welcoming face of one of our key Family Hub sites in Kingston or Richmond. Working within our vibrant Community Team, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the hub remains a safe, clean and inclusive space for the public and professionals.
Duties of the role include:
- Room Set up and Pack up for lets ensuring area clean and tidy
- Provision of light refreshments
- Fire Safety and First Aid training (provided)
- Reception duties

About you
- Educated to GCSE level C or above (or equivalent) in Mathematics and English.
- Experience of a range of front of house duties in a busy, focussed environment such as meeting and greeting visitors, answering telephone calls and email enquiries and ensuring the reception and general building is kept clean and tidy.
- Experience of working in a customer care environment where confidentiality is respected and a non judgemental attitude is adopted.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across a diverse set of stakeholders, including children, young people, their families and the community.
